 Thursday 22 July 2010 THE line-up is now known for the National League Best Pairs at Newport on Saturday, August 7 (2.30pm).
And each club has the opportunity to nominate two riders from their top four in the July averages.
That means the best riders from the third tier of British racing will be doing battle for the prestigious title at the South Wales venue.
Organisers have also confirmed the scoring system for the event will be 4,3,2,0 which means last places need to be avoided at all cost.
National League co-ordinator Peter Morrish said: "The action will be keenly contested over 20 heats, 10 in each group, followed by a sudden death final. It should be an entertaining afternoon for the supporters."
GROUP A: Bournemouth, Dudley, Isle of Wight, Newport, Plymouth.
GROUP B: Buxton, King's Lynn, Mildenhall, Scunthorpe, Weymouth. |
